The production process of dildos
Dildos are mainly made of silicone or TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), and the production process includes mold design, material mixing, injection molding, curing, trimming and packaging. Here are the detailed steps:
• Design the shape, size and texture through 3D modeling or hand carving.
• Make molds with metal or silicone for subsequent infusion of materials.
• Silicone dildos: use medical-grade silicone + curing agent, which is safe and non-toxic, and feels close to the skin.
• TPE dildos: use TPE particles to heat and melt, which is softer and more elastic, but less durable.
• Colorants and fragrances can be added to increase the sense of reality.
• Pour liquid silicone or molten TPE into the mold.
• If it is a style with a skeleton, a soft metal support will be added to the mold to make it bendable and adjust the shape.
•Silicone needs to be heated to 150-200°C for curing (usually several hours).
•TPE needs to be cooled and set, which takes a shorter time.
•After curing, remove the finished product from the mold.
•Remove burrs: manually trim excess material.
•Bionic treatment: spray skin color, add blood vessel texture, and polish the surface to make the appearance more realistic.
•Add lubricating coating: Some high-end styles will be coated with bionic silicone oil to improve the real touch.
•Safety inspection: Check for defects, bubbles or cracks.
•Elasticity test: Ensure that the softness meets the standard and is not easy to break.
•Sterilization and sealing: After the final product is cleaned and sterilized, it is vacuum packaged to avoid contamination.
