Why is it important to learn sex education? What’s the point to learn?
Don&39;t think that "sex education" is just about imparting physiological knowledge; in fact, "sex" covers a very broad range of aspects, so sex education is also a very important personality education. Sex education helps us have correct sexual knowledge, helps us recognize and adapt to the troubles and concerns caused by the physiological or psychological changes in sexuality during growth, and allows us to accept ourselves better and build self-confidence. Sex education also allows everyone to learn about interpersonal relationships and how to get along with others, and cultivate the ability to respect and care for others. Sex education helps people develop an open and responsible sexual attitude so as not to do things that hurt others; it also helps to understand different sexual phenomena in society and cultivate the ability to analyze and establish values.
Why do foreigners have sex education in middle school, but we don&39;t? Is it because of some prejudice? Is there too little sex education in the current education system? When we students mention sex in front of our classmates in school, they laugh because they think sex is very dirty, but it is not the students&39; fault.
You said it very well! Although the implementation of sex education for teenagers in Hong Kong has been gradually accepted by the public, there are still some shortcomings. To effectively implement sex education for teenagers, parents, schools and Hong Kong&39;s education system and policies must cooperate with each other. I hope you know that sex is healthy and normal, not something to be ashamed of. You should not develop prejudice and anxiety about sex because of other people&39;s negative reactions. You may as well take the initiative to absorb sexual knowledge and cultivate healthy and positive values towards sex.
What about sex education? I know it all. I don&39;t want to ask, and I don&39;t want to know. It&39;s not too late for the prophet.
Do you really know everything? Maybe you have some knowledge about sex, but no one has a complete grasp of sex. It seems too negative to take a nonchalant attitude towards sex or think that learning about sex knowledge after growing up. Sex grows with us. We have different needs at different stages of life. Having correct sexual knowledge can reduce misunderstandings about sex, help avoid some unnecessary sexual troubles, and prevent being misled by wrong sexual information. Absorbing more positive sexual knowledge can also help personal growth.
