Being able to talk openly and honestly about sexual health is important. This can include talking about condoms, pregnancy, who you’re attracted to, and many other things to do with having or not having sex.
Though it might feel difficult at first, talking about sexual health and getting good advice from people you trust will help you take actions that keep you healthy, happy and in control of your life. Think about the people in your life – parents, other family members, older friends, teachers or healthcare workers. Who do you feel comfortable talking to about more sensitive issues? Whose advise do you trust? Finding the right person to talk to will mean you can get the support you need and won’t have to deal with the challenges of sex and relationships on your own.
