It is better to put it in your own room, but make sure that no one comes to the room to look through things, such as your parents. You can put it under the bed. If it is a single bed, tidy up the bed and put a board next to it. If conditions permit, change to a single bed with a box underneath. If it is a double bed, put it in the innermost part when no one is at home, tidy up the things underneath, or you can try the closet. It is easy to hide in such a large space, but it depends on the room and the furniture. Make sure these places are not very conspicuous.
